To be a gospel-driven movement of people and communities dedicated to changing the world through serving.
The gospel is the foundation of everything we do at World Servants. The "good news" that the world was forever changed by Jesus coming to serve us, is what drives our movement. It's faith in the gospel on which our organization is based and we expect our key staff, volunteers, and partners to share this foundation. Read more about our faith-based activities. ►
We live in a broken world in which many people lack access to basic services. The gospel drives us to enter into that world and do something about it. We believe that there's an inherent worth to all human beings, because they are created in the image of God. We realize that it's friendship (rather than sermons or programs) that changes people and that it takes a community to change a community. That's why we're committed to working with mission teams (rather than individuals) and sending them out to serve entire communities. Read more about our community-to-community approach. ►

We believe that people have a deep-seeded desire to change the world, and that this is best done, not through power, but through serving. That's why we're committed to assist people in discovering what contribution they can make to serving others wherever they are. Read more about how we serve. ►
We believe the best way to truly develop both ourselves and others is to serve. If you take on the role of a servant, you’ll not only change the world, but also change yourself. That's why we're committed to support Christians' and non-Christians' engagement with development in a way that combines both community development and personal development.
